Our commitment is to create an optimal learning environment where each child can grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. The Admissions Committee carefully evaluates each application to determine how the applicant can benefit from the rich educational experience offered at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥.

We adhere to specific age and grade placement guidelines to ensure appropriate development and learning milestones. Exceptions to these guidelines are rare and are only made after a thorough review by the Admissions Committee:

  • Pre-Kindergarten: Must be 4 years old by August.
  • Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by August.
  • 1st Grade: Must be 6 years old by August.
  • 2nd Grade: Must be 7 years old by August.
  • 3rd Grade: Must be 8 years old by August.
  • 4th Grade: Must be 9 years old by August.
  • 5th Grade: Must be 10 years old by August.
  • 6th Grade: Must be 11 years old by August.
  • 7th Grade: Must be 12 years old by August.
  • 8th Grade: Must be 13 years old by August.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ welcomes students of any race, religion, or nationality. We serve a multicultural community and seek students who thrive in a challenging, international environment with an English as a first language curriculum. We also value students who demonstrate respect, care, and responsibility.

No. At ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, we are committed to helping students reach their language potential. Our ESL (English as a Second Language) program provides support to ensure that all students can succeed, regardless of their starting level in English.

Our academic year runs from August to June, with a mid-year break from December to January. For specific dates, please refer to our 2024-2025 Academic Calendar.

Classes run from 7:50 am to 3:10 pm, Monday through Thursday, and from 7:50 am to 1:20 pm on Fridays. Extracurricular activities are scheduled from 3:30 pm to 4:35 pm (Monday-Thursday) and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Fridays.

We generally admit students at the start of the academic year or at the beginning of the second semester. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Grade placement is based on the student’s previous school records, an academic evaluation, and age (for PK and Kindergarten). For students entering 2nd grade and above from schools outside of Panama, the Ministry of Education (MEDUCA) requires a validation process. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ will guide families through this process.

  • Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten: 16 students per class.
  • 1st to 7th grade: 22 students per class.
  • Student-to-teacher ratio: 8:1.
